Children's Program

Shoreline is committed to our children and provides quality nursery and Sunday School programs for ages 3 years to Kindergarten ("The Lighthouse") and 1st to 6th grade ("The Kid's Cove"). These programs run during the adult worship time at 10am. Nursery - The Little Lighthouse
The Little Lighthouse birth to 2 yrs Jesus said: "I am the Light of the World" John 8:12 What is the purpose of SHORELINE COMMUNITY CHURCH'S ministry to children? Our vision is to create a place for children to begin and/or grow their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God's only Son. What happens during the "Little Lighthouse" hour on Sunday mornings? Your child is lovingly cared for by adults who love children and consider children as special gifts from the Lord. Themes each month begin to introduce your child to god, e.g. God made me (my fingers, toes); God made animals, etc. Age appropriate toys and books are available. A snack is provided for the older children upon parental approval. Who should I talk to if I have further questions, concerns and comments? Please feel free to talk with the teachers in "The Little Lighthouse". We are here to serve you and help in any way that we can. You may also contact the children's coordinator - Charis Spielman at 650/947-0846 or Email: shoreline@shorelinecc.org Ways you can help: Each Sunday your child attends, please sign-in on the weekly form and pick up a "security tag" for your child. The security tag has a unique number that enables you, and only you, to pick up your child after the morning worship service. Soon after the adult worship service closes, please come to pick-up your child. Present your security tag and your child will be released to you. We invite you to then return to the hospitality center as a family. Keeping children healthy is a partnership between parents, teachers at church and the children themselves. Whenever possible a child will be included in the class. However, we ask that you keep your child out of class, when he/she exhibits symptoms of illness, such as fever, diarrhea, excessive mucous discharge, etc. The Lighthouse

Children at this age love to learn using all of their senses, and learn best with repetition. Our morning keeps these principles in mind! Components of the morning will center around the Bible lesson. Learning activities, songs, games craft, Bible memory verse and snack are all components that reinforce the morning's main Bible principle. Look out for special bi-monthly events! Whether we celebrate a holiday, learn about a historical figure, or study the life of missionary, these "theme" Sunday mornings in "The Lighthouse" will surely be a treat for your child.
